Hesio: a Shopify app
Our own Shopify app. It follows the journey of shoppers who gave consent and shows which question – delivery, price, trust or choice – is most likely stopping them from buying.
Walk through the Hesio page
hesio.oxtren.com the way a Shopify store owner reads it, from the question to pricing. The numbers on the page are examples.
- Home
A question, not another dashboard
The headline: “Find the question that stops shoppers buying.” Beside it, the app with its four barriers. The main button is “Install on Shopify”, with a promise underneath: connect in minutes, no code required.
- How it works
From signal to suggested test
Four cards show how Hesio reasons: signal, confidence, meaning and suggested test. Every insight shows its evidence and how strong it is, before anything changes in the store.
- Features
Four views, one question
Three principles: no theme code (Web Pixels API), consent only (Customer Privacy API), observation first. Below them, four views: friction insights, product signals, a weekly report and an assistance preview.
- Friction patterns
Four barriers and one session
A dark section lists the four barriers: delivery, product choice, price, trust. An example session shows what Hesio saw, the question it read (“When will it arrive?”) and the test it suggests.
- First week
The first week, day by day
A timeline from day 0 to day 7: connecting, first signals, first patterns and the weekly report. Beside it, the report screen in four parts, in the order you read them.
- Platform and privacy
Shopify now, privacy always
Shopify is available now; other platforms are marked as in development. The privacy section says what Hesio does not keep: emails, names, addresses, IPs and search text. Uninstalling stops collection.
- Pricing
Three levels, observation is free
Three levels: Observation, Insight and Assist. Observation is free forever; paid levels come with a 14-day trial through Shopify. After pricing, the FAQ and an invitation to start.

The problem
A store owner sees that a shopper left, not why. So what gets changed is what seems likely, not what actually stopped the purchase. Hesio watches first, and suggests a change only once there is evidence for it.
The solution
Hesio assigns each stop to one of four questions: delivery, price, choice or trust. It follows only the journeys of shoppers who gave consent, through Shopify's Customer Privacy API. Every insight shows how much evidence stands behind it, and whatever the signals do not support stays unclassified.
It installs through Shopify's Web Pixels API, so no theme code changes. Shoppers see nothing until the owner approves the wording, and in-store assistance is tested with a controlled experiment: 90% control, 10% Hesio.
The result
Hesio is live at hesio.oxtren.com and installs from Shopify. The observation level is free.
